Course Description

On May 1, 2011, pre-licensing requirements to become a Broker (formerly Salesperson} is now 90 hours of education..

Requirements

      License Requirements:

      At Least 21 years old.

      High School diploma or GED equivalent 

      Get a sponsoring managing broker or firm

    Successfully complete 90 hours of pre-license education

    Pass a state exam

    Complete post-license education before your first renewal

* Those who have completed their coursework prior to April 30, 2011, but did not obtain your license before the recent license changes, call us to learn how we can apply your hours to the new requirement

Course Content

   

                                                    Broker Pre-License Program

This 90 hour is the new requirement to obtain an Illinois Broker License. On completion of the course, you are required to take and pass the state exam.

90 hour includes:
  • 75 Hour Course: Complete this course at your own pace with Self Study program. Live Classroom Instruction available, Call for Details. 
  • 15 Hours of Interactive Class: Interactive Practice of concepts learned in the 75 hour course with "Applied Real Estate Principles". Our classes are led by experienced real estate brokers and instructors.

                                               Self Study or Live Instruction or Live Online Class or Internet
                                               Course Credit: 75 Hours
                                                                                       
                                               Course 2: Broker Pre-License Applied Real Estate Principles
                                                               Live Instruction or Live Online Class (Interactive)
                                               Course Credit: 15 Hours
                                              Course 1: Broker Post License Topics
                                                          Self Study or Live Instruction or Live Online Class or Self Paced Internet
                                                          Course Credit: 15 Hours (Post-License Education)

                                              Course 2: Broker Post License "Applied Real Estate Practices"                                                                                   Live Instruction Sessions or Online Live Class (Interactive)
                                                         Course Credit: 15 Hours (Post-License Education)

  1. This course includes the Broker Pre-License Topics and Broker Pre-License Applied Real Estate Principles courses.
  2. The 75 hour self-study broker pre-license course  must be completed prior to attending the live interactive classes.
  3. Instructor Assistance is included with all school programs.  Call the School and speak with an instructor. Instructors answer your questions, provide individualized instructions to your self-study course materials.
  4. After becoming licensed as a real estate broker, you must complete post-license education before your first renewal.
  5. Upon enrollment you will receive the following:
